My husband and I stayed at Guesthouse Petursborg for a few nights with the hope of catching a glimpse of the northern lights. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we still had a wonderful stay. The cabin was well-furnished and the beds were comfortable. The host, Christjan, was incredibly hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. We were even treated to a delicious breakfast early one day so we could make our ferry. The location was perfect, just outside of town with a beautiful view of the fjord. I highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone looking to be near the city but still enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.

The distance from the city is perfect, allowing visits to the nearby brewery. The room exceeded expectations, with a private bathroom and ample space. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was friendly, efficient, and provided slippers for the shoes-off policy.

We had a great experience staying at Guesthouse Petursborg. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring a quick and efficient service, like changing towels promptly between showers. the breakfast provided was generous and delicious. We appreciated the abundance of brochures about Akureyri and Iceland, which helped us plan our activities. One of the highlights was the opportunity to sit down and take off our shoes, with slippers provided, which was a nice touch considering their 'shoes off policy'.
